I'm being a rule breaker again this week and going for a theme which you can join in if you wish.

Or you can stick to the original game.

Or you can make up your own rules!

It's all about having fun with music, so anything goes.

The theme is siblings.
And the siblings I'm featuring are Kylie and Dannii Minogue.

Very sadly, I missed Kylie in Brisbane last week.

I have always loved Kylie's and Dannii's music.

I loved Kylie on Neighbours.

And I loved Dannii on Young Talent Time.

And I LOVED when they did this...

The two songs I have picked for this week were from the same era.

Kylie's from 1992 and Dannii's from 1993.

They have a similar vibe to them, I think.

Me and my sister were Kylie & Dannii wannabes and used to sing and dance along to the music videos.
Did I just admit that out loud??

We're the same age as both of them. And they have a brother in between, just like us!

Concert

Last year when I finally bought Kylie's Aphrodite CD and spent 2 hours travelling all by myself in the car to an appointment with it turned up loud, real loud, I promised myself that if she came back to Brisbane I'd be there.

Well, guess what?

Kylie is coming!

I'm trying to go.
I want to go.
I'm hoping someone will come with me.
I do feel a little guilty about spending so much money on a ticket.
But, hey, I haven't been to a concert for years...years and years and years.
And I do not want to miss this...



I saw her in 2001 for her Light Years tour and it was amazing.
So I have everything crossed that I will be there, again.

Today while I was waiting for the Polly Dolly Challenge (my favourite thing to do on a Thursday) I had a play on Polyvore and came up with a dream outfit to wear to the Kylie concert. Of course, if I do go I will not be wearing anything like this...this is pure dreaming.

Heels - which I can barely wear these days because of my silly arthretic feet.
Perfume - Kylie's, of course.
Bag - Dolce and Gabbana in honour of her designers for this tour.
And the rest of the stuff I just love.

If you know me at all, you won't be the least bit surprised to know I love Kylie.
If you need to ask, "Kylie who?".... *speak to the hand*

I've loved her since 'Locomotion', no actually before that...
since Neighbours and her appearance with her sister on "Young Talent Time"...




If you tell me you remember this, I will love you forever, no word of a lie!

So this week my oldie and newby are both Kylie tracks.
I've loved so much of her stuff, and have almost all of her albums & CDs.

For my oldie, this still seems recent to me but it was released over 8 years ago.
Love love love it!




And these two newbies are loved and played very loudly in the car by me and my 3 year old daughter.
(Couldn't decide between them so have put both up!)







If she swings past Brisbane anytime soon, I'm there!
