Polly is Touring Wineries for a 40th Birthday

My Polly Dolly theme this week is...

Touring Wineries

My baby sister turns 40 in 7 days!
How did that happen?
Way to make me feel old, lil sis!!
And she has invited an awesome bunch of girls to help her celebrate this weekend.
We are hopping onto a mini bus which is picking us up from her door.
And we'll be touring wineries on Tamborine Mountain for wine tasting and lunch.
Can you say....I CAN'T WAIT???

So anyway, I think I'm going to wear my maxi skirt & flat sandals.
I wish I had a nicer top, and shoes.
Polly is modeling my dream outfit for the day.
I might need to do some last minute shopping!

Polly on the Treadmill

I've made up my own Polly Dolly Challenge theme this week
and it is...
treadmill

I just can't tell you how proud of myself I am at the moment.
Today is the last day of January, and I have been on my treadmill every single day this month!
Last Friday I hit 100km!!
So I am giving myself one almighty pat on the back.
And I've even inspired Polly to do a spot of treading this week.
Of course I do not look remotely like Polly,
but I imagine I do and that makes me walk faster.
We do have two things in common,
we have exactly the same shoes
and iPod!
Fancy that!!

PS I really want a t-shirt like Polly's that says "Tread Head"

Polly - First Day Back at School

I've made up my own Polly Dolly Challenge theme this week
and it's...you guessed it...
first day back at school

Today was the first day back at school for my 7 year old boy, in Year 2
and my Miss 4 who started kindy...again...
And I'm not going to tell you how it went because I don't want to talk about it!
Yes, it was that bad.

So instead, I'm going to dream of a perfect world
where I cheerily stride, with a sunny smile upon my face
holding my children's hands, one on each side
and drop them at their classrooms
with a breezy kiss
a cuddle
and an "I love you".
And they smile happily back and wave goodbye
then disappear without a worry in the world.
Needless to say, it is not raining!

That is not my world, but it is Polly's world.
So come away with me and dream.
For who else but Polly could get away with wearing a $1500 dress to school drop off?
