I love Michael Jackson.

I have many of his albums.

I saw him in Brisbane in the 90's.

He was an amazing songwriter and entertainer.

My favourite Michael Jackson song is this one...I adore the melody, it sends me to another place.

It's not bad...it's got nothing on the original though.

If you're a blogger, you probably know where a lot of other bloggers have been this weekend.

Yep, the #AusBlogCon2011.

I've been typing that hashtag all weekend.

That and #NonAusBlogCon2011.

Because of course, I am not there.

But via the power of Twitter I kinda sorta felt like I was, and it was good!

While I was virtually at the dinner dance @SusanneWest tweeted, "Uptown Girl".

So you know what that means...it has to be this week's oldie.
I've always LOVED this song. Unfortunately the embedding code has been disabled so I can't put the original video with Christie Brinkley on...that was such a cute video!
Anyhow...here 'tis...

But wait, there's more...

Then @MeganBlandford tweeted that the first song was Billie Jean...so here it is, too. Two oldies for the price of one!

My newbie is something a little different this week.

I didn't hear it on the radio, I saw it on a TV ad and I cannot get it out of my head.

Is there any song the Glee cast cannot do?

Christmas is over for another year.
I hope you all had a good one.
We are in the final week of 2010.
How did that happen?

I'm reminiscing over MJ this week.
Thriller was one of the first records (yes, black, round and vinyl) that I think I played to death.
I loved so many songs from that album, and so many of his others.
But this one is my absolute favourite, the melody sends me to another place.
