Sunday Session

On Sundays I pop two favourite songs onto my blog.
An oldie but a goldie.
And a newbie, fresh from the charts, or fresh from the past five years.
But I often break these rules, you can too of course!
Here are my picks for this week.
You can play along by linking up below.
And grab the button on the side bar if you want.
Can't wait to hear your picks.

Happy Sunday!

I have put this oldie on before, but I'm doing it again because it reminds me of this weeks newbie.
I first heard this song when I was in Europe in 2002.
It was huge on MTV, and because that was one of a couple of TV channels we could understand, we saw it a lot!

I love Katy Perry, but I avoided this song at first because I thought it was a bit wierd.
But it's grown on me, a lot!
And it sounds more than a little like t.A.T.u.
Don't you think?

It's Valentine's Day tomorrow.
I've posted my dream date and outfit on Valentine Polly.
And I'm breaking the rules again for this Sunday Session.
No oldie and newbie this week.
This week's songs are 'our' songs.
The songs that always make me think of my gorgeous husband.

Song 1 - This song was released just a few months before I met my husband. I loved it from the moment I heard it. And every word of it was true for me when I met him.

Song 2 - Another song that was out at around the same time. I had a massive crush on Ronan Keating because of this song, until it was replaced by a massive crush on my husband!

Song 3 - Our song.

Song 4 - This song and the next song remind us of our honeymoon in Europe. It was Winter so we spent a lot of time in our hotel rooms watching CNN or MTV because they were the only channels in English.

Song 5 - We saw Robbie and tATu over and over and over. If we hear these songs now we're taken straight back to Europe! :)

This week I'm linking up with Natasha at 5 minutes just for me. Click on her button to visit her beautiful blog.

Happy Sunday.
Happy Valentine's Day.
Spread the Love. <3 <3 <3
