Poetry is not really my thing. But I had these words in my head and needed to get them out.
I don't even know if it is an ode, technically, but no matter.
An Ode To My Daughter
The sweetest thing ever has come into sight,
A two year old bundle of pure delight.
With sparkles and twinkles in crystal blue eyes,
My heart fills with joy at her widest of smiles.
She laughs, sings and dances,
She completely entrances,
She swirls, whirls and twirls,
This little girl with golden curls.
She is an angel, she's divine,
My baby girl, I'm blessed, she's mine.
Just beautiful! Both the words and your daughter. She's gorgeous, and very lucky to have a beautiful mum like you! :)
