This week I'm going with a green theme in honour of St Patrick's Day.

Here are some pretty yummy green things growing in our garden...

 

Basil, how I love thee!

When my 6 year old boy was a baby I toyed with jewellery making for awhile.

Yes, OK, I broke my own rules this week. There are five pictures. But only because I have five and love them equally so couldn't leave any out.

I bought these gorgeous masks in Venice. They were absolutely everywhere, in street carts, shop windows, on the Rialto Bridge.  I was enamoured by all of the gorgeous things in Venice and had to bring some home with me.

These clay masks are only small, about 7cm, so they were perfect to stow away in my back pack.

Today's pretty things are a little different.

Today I'm seeing the pretty in old and rusty.

Today's pics are pretty in a rustically charming way...I hope...



The kids were sure this was Mater.



Rusty barbed wire reminds me of the farm, I love it!



I'm intrigued by the history of places like this.

I took this on my walk during the floods. It is the ultimate Summer flower, a hibiscus...in my favourite colour.

 

This pretty plant is growing all over our garden, I adore the pink spots.

 

The detail on our bed linen...sparkly swarovski crystals!

A Christmas present from my husband. I love them so much.
