Sunday Session

New rules - there are no rules!
On Sundays I play music on my blog.
Old or new or in between.
Related or not.
But always songs I love!
Here are my picks for this week.
You can play along by linking up below.
Can't wait to hear your picks.

I'm writing this post early, and attempting to schedule it, because I'm having my second big weekend in a row! And after last week, I'm hoping nothing goes wrong with my post this week!!

Eight of my dearest friends from teacher's college and I are away on our annual girls' weekend at Maleny.
So, in honour of my eight friends (Bronwyn, Jane, Joanna, Julie, Katrina, Melina, Nicole & Toni), whom I met 25 years ago (OMG, I am totally aware of how old that makes me!!) in 1987...let's step back in time, to 1987!

Embedding has been disabled for this one but click here to see which Madonna song was big in 1987.

Sunday Session

On Sundays I pop two favourite songs onto my blog.
An oldie but a goldie.
And a newbie, fresh from the charts, or fresh from the past five years.
But I often break these rules, you can too of course!
Here are my picks for this week.
You can play along by linking up below.
And grab the button on the side bar if you want.
Can't wait to hear your picks.

Happy Sunday!

Madonna was a huge part of my music listening hours when I was a teenager.
I still remember the first time I ever saw her on TV.
Molly Meldrum was talking about her on a music video show saying he thought she was going to be huge!
This is the song is saw...not Holiday...

Some of her stuff I didn't like much,
but a lot of it, I loved!
Like this.

OK, so it seems Madonna doesn't like her videos being embedded. So again...click here.

This one, not so much.
But is sounds a lot like the newbie I'm about to play.

Same deal.

And then today I heard this on the radio.
Yes, I am way behind the times with this one.

Tip - skip to 2:20 if you just want to hear the song, the beginning is freaky weird anyhow and who has 7mins20secs to watch the whole thing?

Rip off??
I say yes!
It couldn't be more like a Madonna song, unless Madonna sang it herself.
It's a great song, I love it.
But I still wanna say...Copy Cat!

Natasha's back so I'm linking to her Sunday Song as well today.
