I'm Starting a Shop!!


I was so excited about the interest in my scarves from my blog party giveaway that I'm going to start up a shop on MadeIt.com.au !  Woohoo

Thanks so much to anyone who has supported and encourage this idea.

I'm pretty nervous about it. I've sewn for people before, but have never sold anything online.

I'm trying to come up with a shop name and every time I go to type it to register, I balk.

I need some help.  Here are my ideas...

Handmade With Heart
Made by Me
Ta-Da Designs
Thea's Things
Made 4 You by Thea
Made by Thea
Thea Designs
Thea's Creations
Created by Thea
Thea's Shop

Do you like any of those??
Do you have any other suggestions?

Please help, I'll be eternally grateful (Yes, just saw Toy Story 3 recently.)

    I like Creations by Thea, I know its not one of the options you listed but...

    Also, have you googled each name to make sure no one else has them? If you end up registering, filing for tax id numbers, etc., it needs to be unique.

    Hope this goes terrificly well for you! You have a really pretty name, so I'd suggest using that in which ever label you go for.

    I'd go with one of the names with your name in it. It's a lovely creative name and has a nice sound to it. Good on you. I'm so glad you are doing this. xx

    Hmm, I think they're all a little same-same, Sorry.

    I think you should be more adventurous. What about something like:

    Theatrix

    I kinda like Thea's Things... but maybe you could pretty it up a bit by using 'Thea's Lovely Things', okay a bit boring still.

    What about ... (you can always leave your name off the start)
    Thea's Natty Knits
    Thea's Knit Knacks
    Thea's Scrumptious Scarves
    Thea's Woolly Warmers
    Thea's Woolly Gorgeous Knits (geddit, geddit??.... really gorgeous knits with a nice Aussie inflection)

    Not much help, sorry, good luck with it, it's exciting getting going!

    I once had a knitted scarf shop on ebay, I called it 'Jody's Knits' :)

    Congratulations! Your scarves are beautiful. I would go with something that has your name in it. "Designs by Thea" perhaps.
