An oldie but a goldie.
And a newbie, fresh from the charts, or fresh from the past five years.
But I often break these rules, you can too of course!

Happy Sunday!
To wrap up this wonderful week of wedding posts, this Sunday Session will not be held in the local pub, but the nearest church or cathedral. We're off to a wedding, so today's Sunday Session is my favourite wedding songs.
My first song is my absolute favourite processional song, it was ours of course...
This was my sister's processional song, I still love it...
As a recessional, I love this...
And for the first dance, how about this...
Oh you've brought back so many memories. Not about weddings, but when my daughter played trumpet in the school orchestra. One of my very favourites was Trumpet Voluntary. I always get goose-bumps when I hear it.
ReplyDeleteThanks for that Thea. Aside from the fact that I have played it a number of times, Pachelbel Canon in D is a particular favorite. My son also used it as the processional for his wedding.
ReplyDeleteWe too used the tune Trumpet Voluntary...love that tune. I was actually sad that they didn't use it at the Royal Wedding the other night *LOL*
ReplyDeleteI LOVE that wedding dance. That looked like so much fun! :D
ReplyDeleteI had the weekend off from computing so did not join you for Sunday Session this week Thea. I will be back I promise but probably not this month. Called by to have a listen though, my husband particularly enjoys The Corrs music!
ReplyDeleteI love Pachabel's Canon in D - I remember playing this in the grounds of a mansion house when I was a teen, and tears just coursing down my face - I got so lost in it - the audience must have wondered what on earth was happening - I don't think I could use it at my wedding, though it is my fave, just in case it set me off!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the memory though - and this is a gorgeous version too!
