Sunday Session

New rules - there are no rules!
On Sundays I play music on my blog.
Old or new or in between.
Related or not.
But always songs I love!
Here are my picks for this week.
You can play along by linking up below.
Can't wait to hear your picks.

Happy Sunday!

This week I'm featuring one artist.
Christina Perri.
I haven't heard much of her music, but what I have heard, I like.
Her voice reminds me of Adele's...but much MUCH less angsty and irritating.
Sorry...still can't get into Adele.
But these songs, I could listen to over and over.

  1. I can't get into Adele either! Thought I must be the only one.

  2. Gasp! Irritating? Angsty, most definitely. But irritating?!??!?! :)

I was just saying to Joel yesterday that I cannot wait for Adele to fall madly in love with a GOOD guy, and then right an album. And album that isn't about how her heart is broken.

  3. I'd never heard of Christina Perri. She's got a nice voice (sounds kind of angsty though :D )

  4. I'm not a big fan of Adele either.

The second video had clips from my dreams/nightmares as a child.

  5. I love this girl, and her songs! She makes me want to take up piano!
On Youtube she sings a whole lot of covers, and I watched for ages once, just loving her! Someone's definitely broken her heart at some point, her songs and videos are a bit worrying. xx

  6. I would enjoy Adele, except for the music shop in my local shopping centre has her album on repeat and I am truly over her voice now.

Christina Perri has a great voice, but am I really thick or is the girl in the first video completely different from the one in the second?

  8. I love Christina Perri, but have only heard her popular "Jar of Hearts" so far. Thanks for sharing these other two by her. Love her raspy voice. :)
