Sunday Session

New rules - there are no rules!
On Sundays I play music on my blog.
Old or new or in between.
Related or not.
But always songs I love!
Here are my picks for this week.
You can play along by linking up below.
Can't wait to hear your picks.

Happy Sunday!

This week my Miss 4 and I heard this song in the supermarket.
I was singing along and she was doing some mean trolley dancing.
I can't believe I haven't played ABBA on the Sunday Session yet!

Were you an ABBA fan?
It was the 70s, I was in primary school.
My friends and I were massive ABBA fans.
I had a blue ABBA t-shirt.
I desperately wanted knee high ABBA socks, but sadly never got any.
I had posters, a scrapbook, collected bubble gum cards.
Oh....those were the days.

So, let's play another one...

My teacher in primary school changed the words to that one for our school camp to...
"I love food, I do, I do, I do, I do, I do."
We thought it was hilarious!

Just one more, huh?
Why not...

The last one is my favourite.
Although it is hard to a a single favourite.
We had all their albums.
My whole family loved ABBA.

Do you have an ABBA favourite??
Please tell me you love them, too.

  1. We were total Abba fans in our house. My sister and I used to sing all the words to every song. My favourite was 'Does Your Mother Know?'

  2. I didn't really grow up with ABBA but was dragged along to a BABBA concert by some of my girlfriends a few years back. I don't mind their songs but boy did I have a blast seeing my so-called low profile friend go NUTS over ABBA! :D

  3. My family were mad nutters when it came to ABBA.
I missed out on that period but i still have fun dancing and singing along to their best hits (which were just about all of them!)

  4. We love Abba! My sis and I would pretend we were Abba with our friends.

  5. I love Abba - very clever yet deceptively simple songs that get you moving! My personal fave is Dancing it!

  6. I'm NOT an ABBA fan, but my daughter loves Mama Mia the movie... She knows all the songs! Must have skipped a generation in this house! lol

Just one little comment will make my day.
