What the??? We have 6 states and 2 territories, and SEVEN time zones? That's nuts! What a ridiculous thing is daylight savings. Did someone someday just say, "I want more daylight at the end of the day instead of morning where it is totally useless to me!!"? Right then, let me wave my magic wand and grant you 'Daylight Savings'!
If we can just change the time willy-nilly to suit anybody, I'm going to campaign for NSEWSM(&D)S Time. What? Do I have to spell it out for you?? It is North South East & West Saving Mums' (and Dads') Sanity Time where all clocks have the hours from 4pm - 8pm totally removed and 10pm - 8am is deemed null & void to children so it just doesn't exist for them therefore they cannot possibly awaken nor call for anyone (namely their mother)...of course!
Think anyone will vote for that one? Makes much more sense to me than daylight bloody savings!!
short, but sweet.. I like it! and agree wholeheartedly... Tho at this point in my life while I remain childless I do enjoy the light when I get out of work.. I'm sure things will change when there are little ppl I need to worry about and THEIR body clocks are all wacked out I will be singing a different tune.. I do feel for u, just had lunch with a friend who's daughter is 18mths old and woke at 4:20AM THIS MORNING!!!!!!!!
