Well, Prince William is in Australia with his crown on show. That is not the fancy, velvet and jewel encrusted king's type crown for he won't be king until the passing of his beloved grandmother AND his dear father.
Oh no, he has the type of crown that Jack broke whilst falling down the hill after trying to fetch a pail of water on display.
He is losing his hair? Going bald already?? But didn't he just grow hair??? Wasn't it just a couple of years ago that he was a toddler and visiting New Zealand and Australia for the first time with his parents???? (OK, enough with the question marks).
Seriously, I have been a lover of all things Royal for as long as I can remember. Especially when Lady Diana came on scene. I was 12 and at the age where I just wanted to be her, because of course I had no idea what that really entailed. I followed her every move in magazines, TV documentaries, books, anything I could get my hands on. And I spent hours and hours cutting out magazine articles and pictures and oh so carefully gluing them into multiple scrapbooks. I distinctly remember the article of the family with their little boy sitting on a picnic blanket for a photo shoot in New Zealand.
And now he's losing his hair? I know he's only 27 but that still makes me feel old!!
I think it must be really annoying when your Dad has a full head of hair (as with Charles) and you go bald young.
ReplyDeleteThat's happened in my family too - Dad still has a full head of hair, not even a bald patch, and my brother was pretty much bald by the time he was Willsy's age. See, my family is just like the royals. Only less dysfunctional. Mostly.
He should just go super cool and shave it all off! I think he could look quite good with no 1s all over!
ReplyDeleteRogaine!!! Wills is ugly *with* hair let alone without it!!
ReplyDeleteI'm more of Prince Harry fan my self! It's that wicked glint in his eye that gets me!
ReplyDeleteHaving said that, I'm with Jodie, shave it off! Nothing worse than ignoring it.
OMG - he's 27 already? Now that just makes me feel old.
ReplyDeleteI remember being allowed to stay up late and watch Charles and Di get married. Now that makes me feel old!
ReplyDeleteI love that you've made Prince Willy's visit all about you! [as it should be]
ReplyDeleteEarly baldness is a bugger but I am with Jodie. He should just get a Number 1 and it would look much better. He seems like a very approachable young man who takes his role very seriously. It would be nice if the The Queen hands down the reigns direct to Prince William and skip Prince Charles. Hes a bit... hmm.. old and fuddy duddy xxx
ReplyDeleteWell, I have to say I think he's lovely, hair or no hair. And I think his mother is very proudly looking down from heaven at her son.
ReplyDeletePS - I've just left you something over at my blog. I hope it cheers you up a little, even if you already have one.
ReplyDeleteI'm also a lover of all things Royal. Diana was only about 6 months older than me and I was always amazed at her maturity when she was first married (as opposed to my reckless lifestyle) I followed her in the media and always felt an affinity, I'm sure we could have been friends.
ReplyDeleteI think she would be so proud of William, he obviously has her charm and not his fathers stuffiness and awkwardness.
