My View

I know I've said it before but we live in a large country town, halfway up a big hill, two streets away from the main street.

One of the best things about this location is the view.  Everyone who comes to our front door, turns around and (after recovering their breath) says, "What a view!"

So as I sit on my patio this morning, this is what I see.

A multi-storey car park
Two clock towers
Harvey World Travel
Coles
Target
Cinemas
Three churches
A scrapbooking shop
The hospital
The police station
A state school
Traffic lights
A framing and gallery shop
Tyrepower
The town library
Solicitors/Accountants/Dentists/Physiotherapists offices
Beaurepairs
A Holden car yard
The Commonwealth Bank
Subway
Cold Rock
Rivers
The art gallery
The Civic Centre
The council building
Good Price Pharmacy Warehouse
Real Estate Agents
The RSL
Amcal
Two pubs
The Town centre stage
The backs of lots of shops
Lots of rooves
Lots of houses
Lots of traffic
Lots of trees
Mountains
Clouds
And blue sky

What can you see from your place?

  1. Ooh cool! That photo makes me feel like I'm over at your place enjoying the view and a cup of tea :)

From my place? Hmm not a lot. We live just on the edge of a National Park so there's lots of bush around the place. The view from my little balcony is pretty cool - I can sticky beak into the neighbours' gardens! x

  3. Oh wow. How cool! Nice blue sky too.

All I can see from here is grey sky and trees. That is it, nothing else......but at night I can see twinking city lights.......and on a very clear day I can see the sea beyond the trees.....
