On Sundays I pop two favourite songs onto my blog.
An oldie but a goldie.
And a newbie, fresh from the charts.
Here are my picks for this week.

Can't wait to hear your picks.
Happy Sunday!
This week's oldie just happened to pop into my head this morning as I was making my Vegemite toast. I heard it last week on the credits of a movie, I think it was Mr Deeds. I didn't watch the movie, it was just on, you know. Anyway, I'm rambling, what I'm trying to say is, I love this song!!
My newbie this week samples another old song that I loved, this one...
It's Jennifer Lopez's new song. Jenny from the Block is looking hot, so glam! And she's just proven she can still do a good catchy dance track. Here it is...
I'll be linking with Natasha's Sunday Song again this week. Click on her button to visit her beautiful blog.
I love that Pete Townshend song too, but I had forgotten about it.
ReplyDeleteI love the Lambada also, but this video didn't sit well with me. It's a pretty sexy dance for such little people to be doing. Am I being a prude?
I enjoyed this JLo video, reminds me of my partying days. Dancing around the living room seems to be the most I get to do nowadays.
I can't believe I knew the Pete Townshend song, but didn't know he sang it!
ReplyDeleteI had forgotten about the Lambada, but it really is a sensual, sultry song and clip - take me to an island!
I'm surprised that JLo's new song is SO high energy. She's no frump!
The Lambada sample is really pretty!
Sunday Song/Session again where did that week go and what a week again! With Mother Nature in such turmoil I certainly need to hop around and listen to music this morning. Thanks for your selection, especially The Lambada.
ReplyDeleteOooo I love the J-Lo/Pitbull number, so fabulously catchy, makes me want to get out to a club/party/anywhere and dance!
ReplyDeleteGlad to see J.Lo back! I am unfamiliar with Lambada so the sampling is lost on me. I did think J.Lo's song sounded like Shakira meets Katy Perry, but that's not a bad thing. All three of these ladies consistently make good dance music.
