An oldie but a goldie.
And a newbie, fresh from the charts, or fresh from the past five years.
But I often break these rules, you can too of course!
Here are my picks for this week.

Can't wait to hear your picks.
Happy Sunday!
I was watching RocKwiz last night and heard this song. It's the perfect oldie for a Sunday Session, don't you think?
And then I found this recent version.
I love Keith!
He's an Aussie done good Big Time.
He's local...from these 'ere parts.
His birthday is the same day as mine!
I love Keith!!
What do you reckon? Fun, no?

ReplyDeleteIf I say I like Kieth's version, does this make me a country fan? Because I'm finding it hard to cling desperately to hang onto my 3 decade long disdain for the entire genre....
ReplyDeleteI love the song Jack & Dianne (old version) thanks for waking a wonderful memory in me.
ReplyDeleteI don't like Keith Urban's version but then I never like other people doing versions of any old song.
That even goes for all the versions of songs that Suzie Q did that belong to other singers.
I love singers to sing their own songs makes them more special.

ReplyDeleteI always think it is interesting to have modern interpretations of old songs, not sure which I prefer this time.
