Sunday Session

On Sundays I pop two favourite songs onto my blog.
An oldie but a goldie.
And a newbie, fresh from the charts, or fresh from the past five years.
But I often break these rules, you can too of course!
Here are my picks for this week.
You can play along by linking up below.
And grab the button on the side bar if you want.
Can't wait to hear your picks.

Happy Sunday!

The Sunday Session is a little late today because I've just arrived home from almost four days with very patchy internet....and boy did I miss it!!

While I was visiting the fam on the farm, my brother (the DJ) told me something I didn't know...I know, I don't know everything!

Lady Antebellum's Charles Kelley is Josh Kelley's brother!
Remember Josh? He married Katherine Heigl from Grey's Anatomy and 27 Dresses....I LOVE her!!

Well...Josh Kelley has gone all country!!

So, in honour of that new musical knowledge...here are three songs for today's Sunday Session...

  1. That Lady Antebellum song is my 2010 song! Will forever be a happy song to me, the year I made 2 of the best friends ever.

Even if those friendships have fizzled away, that song will remind me of one of the best years of my life.

  2. That was nice, I wanted some soothing lovely music this week and you delivered. My music tastes are so ecclectic, I love country music too, so I don't mind that he's gone country.

  4. I knew that Amazing song, but I'd never known who'd sung it. WOW, he sounds different in the country song.

I refuse, in the name of protecting my reputation as a C&W hater, to like it. I just won't, dammit.....(it gets kind of catchy, no?)

Ok. Off to try to find my own.
