I love Michael Jackson.
I have many of his albums.
I saw him in Brisbane in the 90's.
He was an amazing songwriter and entertainer.
My favourite Michael Jackson song is this one...I adore the melody, it sends me to another place.

It's not bad...it's got nothing on the original though.

I did a Twitter Poll a few days ago and 'Man in the Mirror' was a clear winner. I do love that one, too!

ReplyDeleteI can't believe you saw him live! the other night, when we were putting songs on twitter and I was watching a music video I remember thinking....imagine, just imagine seeing him live. Actually being there.

I can't bring myself to watch the CB one. I can't bring myself to listen to anything he does.

ReplyDeleteMelissa - I've seen quite a few big music acts but he was by far the most amazing. His presence on stage was something that had to be seen and felt to be believed. Such a shame he is no longer with us.

I wish I had gone to see him live, what a memory to treasure.
I kind of groaned when I saw that you were posting about MJ, because he seems so eighties now. (Don't get me wrong, I was his biggest fan,listening to his songs as a teenager and crying! Also, went through a big MJ phase about 2 years ago to teach my son about him.)
ReplyDeleteBut I really LOVE the Chris Brown song, and while, his moves are't as refined as Michael's I love the smoothness of the moves in this clip.
Sad what fame does to a person. I don't like who Chris Brown is in his personal life, but I don't like who Michael became either. I can't deny they are AMAZING performers. xx
