New rules - there are no rules!
On Sundays I play music on my blog.
Old or new or in between.
Related or not.
But always songs I love!
Here are my picks for this week.
You can play along by linking up below.
Can't wait to hear your picks.
Happy Sunday!
I've been treadmilling like a mad thing every day.
Yep, that's every single day this year so far.
But I wouldn't do it if I didn't have my music.
The music makes me do it!
And this week I've picked my favourite sing-a-long track.
Boy do I belt this one out as I'm tread tread treading.
It's an oldie, but I still love it.
The next song is not one I have on the treadmill play list, it's a bit too slow.
But for some reason 'In Too Deep' reminds me of this one.
Another of my favourite tunes from the 90s.
I guess it helps that I met and had a little chat with Dazza after we saw him play at a pub in Brisbane many moons ago. He was so nice.
Loved both of these when they first were released and still love them now. Timeless hits!

I've added my Number 2 work out song, because I love it still 17 years later

ReplyDeleteOooh! Belinda Carlisle! I've always loved her songs. Pity I missed her concert when she was in Melbourne. It was a small one and nobody wanted to go with me. :S
ReplyDeleteI totally wanted to look like Belinda Carlisle when I was younger. And.. I wanted to look like the chick in the Horses film clip! Hmm.... I sense a theme!
ReplyDeleteYes, I always thought Belinda Carlisle was a beauty too. If readers found this one to be a bit before their time, I can't imagine what they'll think of my Sunday Session entry this week! ;-)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the blast from the past. That was excellent! Rachel xx

I loved Belinda Carlisle and while I wasn't a huge Daryl Braithwaite fan I was a Margaret Urlich one and LOVED her first album. She has a great voice and really lifted this song up for me!
